The 2022 Rosé of Grenache presents a spellbinding shell-pink hue with scents of jasmine, watermelon and cantaloupe. Bright, fleshy textures are imbued with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, strawberry and light spice. Tangy acidity and hints of sea spray linger on a fresh, minerally finish.
The 2022 Rosé is composed of fruit from Brave Oak Vineyard (55%) in Paso Robles and Murmur Vineyard (23%) in Santa Maria Valley—two sites that produce complementary expressions of Grenache.
The early-pick Brave Oak Grenache blocks were targeted exclusively for rosé production and fermented in concrete and neutral French oak barrels.
After two months on the fermentation lees, the concrete portion was racked barrels. The late-pick Murmur Vineyard Grenache was saignéed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, then racked with the fermentation lees to neutral French oak barrels.
At the three-month mark, the final blend was assembled from the two lots and raised in stainless steel for an additional five months. This mix of methods and fermentation vessels allowed Winemaker Jeremy Leffert to create a rosé that is uniquely elegant and textural with multidimensional character.

Stasis
Stasis wines focus on coastal expressions of both renowned and obscure grape varieties. They pay homage to the Stasis Theory, a truth-seeking discipline first practiced by the great philosophers and orators of ancient Greece. Between the physical and metaphysical, there is Stasis — a balanced state of being.
